Experimental Style

In this photo, Kyle has both a unique and amusing expression. He was posing for me, and was messing around a little, but the picture still came out good.

Like the photo with Oscar next to a caption that reads "bite me", he again has an stubborn and almost irritated expression that's somehow serious and not serious at the same time.

I think that Sadie is one of my best models for this assignment because she makes very unique and  expressions, which was what I was trying to capture in my assignment.

In this photo, Sami has a very thoughtful look on her face.
Once again, Sadie is attempting to make another weird face for me, and it turns out really amusing.

This picture is what I considered my most unique expression; it's almost dramatic.

Sketchbook

This picture not only represents the feeling of loneliness, but not part of anything, such as the world, because the feet aren't touching the ground.
Amanda's face looks a little confused, surprised, and embarrassed, which can be awkward feelings to experience.

This picture expresses my feelings towards literature and English class, especially when we read old and hard books.

The model looks like he is sneering a little at the camera, and he looks a little intimidating. I added that caption in hope to mimic the emotion he expresses; threat.

Instead of adding a caption, I chose to let the street sign to speak for itself. The picture represents California, specifically San Francisco.

This could be looked at as an artistic and creative drawing, but it could also be translated as "Dinosaur Time", even though I'm not entirely sure what that could mean...

When I first got into Drew, my teacher kept telling me that "drew" was the past tense of "draw", which was a clever joke to him. So I decided to add all of the forms of the word "draw" around Drew.

I decided to add a kind of lame "roar" to this very intimidating and powerful dragon.

I thought Kyle's face represented how most high schoolers feel; during finals week, which is panic, stress, and horror.

After I saw pictures of beaches labeled similarly to this, I decided to label the parts of a skateboard.
